DS106 Design Assignment: Motivational Poster
Made this DS106 Design Assignment and added a Coen brothers twist. If you’ve ever seen The Big Lebowski, you’ll understand the context. Very simple design using (gasp!) Microsoft Power Point.
DS106 Audio Assignment: Movie As Radio
I was amazed at how quickly I was able to put this DS106 Assignment Bank project together. With all the movie audio, including songs and some soundbites, is available on a CD, it makes things much easier. This was a favorite soundtrack to listen to back in 1995. In Madison, a person could hear “Son of a Preacher Man” playing in every other bar on State Street. One of my favorite films. I’m still waiting to go to Paris to get a “Royale With Cheese” !
DS106 Video Assignment: Dear Sixteen Year Old, Me
This DS106 Video Assignment didn’t take too much time to record, but it did take a while to think about what I was going to say. Most of it is light, but I do talk a bit serious for a couple of moments. Recorded this with my iMac webcam, cut together in iMovie and even put in a Fine Young Cannibals tune from 1988. Not sure if the music was a nice compliment or a bit of a distraction. Comments appreciated.
